Sept. 2007: Umbrella Etiquette

Dr. Ganz I just hate walking in the city when it rains. For some reason, people with umbrellas think they are like charging bulls pointing their umbrellas down in front of them while walking right towards me. The umbrella points right at my most private parts....Mary K. Dix Hills NY

Sept. 2007: Elevator Hogs

My Pet Peeve involves elevators. When I walk into my building there are always other people standing right in front of the elevator buttons. Instead of asking me what floor I am going to, they just stand there blocking the buttons. My hands are full, I have to juggle my stuff just to hit the buttons while at the same time dodging and weaving to get in front of the elevator hog....John C Malverne NY
